Serves as the Metrology and Calibration Program Standard Practice Engineer
(Metrology Manager) managing the metrology
program at NASA Langley Research Center. The incumbent of this position is
recognized as the technical expert, advisor, and
consultant on all matters involving metrology, calibration and measurement
assurance used by NASA and its contractors to
accomplish NASA Langley mission objectives.
Position may be filled at either the GS-14 or GS-15 level. The full performance
level for this position is GS-15. If selected at the
lower level, employee may be non-competitively promoted to the next grade when
qualified and recommended by management.
