Come out to the *4th Annunal Star Wars Festival at Hemphill Library today,
June 23 from 2-4 pm*. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. If you or
your children love Star Wars this is the place to be!! I’ll be there at one
of the craft tables, stop by and say HEY!
Bring a flashlight, put on your bug spray, and come out to * Kathleen Clay
Library for a Froggy Night Hike through Price Park on Wednesday, June 25
from 6:30-8* *pm. *Hear the calls of our frogs, learn what frogs are native
to our area and how you can help them.
I’ll be presenting a *Yummy in My Tummy! Storytime at Kathleen Clay Branch
on Tuesday, June 26 at 1:30 pm.* I would love for my storytime friends to
come out and see me there.
*Nature’s Symphony Festival at the Benjamin Library on Tuesday, June 26 at
2:30 pm* for all you nature lovers. Enjoy from singing birds to croaking
frogs, the music of wind and water, and live animals from the NC Zoo. I’ll
be there helping Ms. Brandon with crafts.
*Teens Rockin’ Career Exploration at the Glenwood Library with Susan Powell
from GTCC Crimial Justice Department on Tuesday, June 26 at 7 pm.* There
will be a fingerprinting activity and information about CSI and other
Criminal Justice careers.
Don’t miss *Glenwood Library’s All That JAZZ! Festival on Thursday, June 28
at 2:30 pm. *Come get your beads, design a Mardi Gras Mask, and listen to
some cool jazz music played by local musicians.
Join us at the *Glenwood Recreation Center, 2010 Coliseum Blvd

Amanda the Aerialist on Thursday, July 5 at 2:30 pm*. Be amazed as she
performs aerial feats while suspended on strips of fabric, twirling and
spinning from a 16 foot rig. You’ll learn about mechanics, muscle memory,
and brain exercise.
