"Poetry of
Peace and Harmony" is a poetry work call humanism
written by Mr. Guy
Crequie, well-known poet
and writer of France, Messenger of Peace appointed by
the United Nations, Laureate of the European
Academy of Arts and senior
member of World
Academy of Arts and Culture and World Congress of Poets
(WAAC/WCP).
Mr. Crequie is a poet with a big heart. He is
calling for human wisdom to the
survival of
people in respect of all beings. His poetry book is debating
the
good and evil, linking the characters
in scenes, alternately cheerful or sad,
love and hate. It was important to bring out
all issues of this collection of
poems
dedicated to human, seeking harmony and peace.
This literary work
is a hymn to peace, respect human beings whatsoever and a
huge appeal to humanity. Mr. Crequie in his
poems offer us his noble and pure
feelings,
it provides naturally to everyone, without differentiating
between
skin color or race, nationality or
religion. It has a big dream: peace, freedom
and love.
Mr. Crequie’s poetry book is aiming at
sending a poetic warning of the possible
and probable destruction of life on the planet

The World Academy of Arts and Culture

Guy Crequie’s, collection of poems,
titled, “POETRY OF PEACE AND HARMONY”
demonstrates a rare blend of skill as a
lyricist, singer, poet and writer. Of the 22
books authored by him, 12
books contribute
to the essentialism of human action for harmonious
co-existence
of all sects of humans. That
apart, the 10 poetry books compiled by him
reflect universal splendors in the form of
planetary poetry. Be it
the
fascinating nature, the Great Wall of China, the Mount
Everest or the
Brazilian Madness, the poems
endorse the poet’s spontaneous imaginative
expression in a serene mode.
Without hesitation it can be ascertained
that POETRY OF PEACE AND HARMONY is a
compilation of perfect lyrical poems.
Amply
it glorifies Guy Crequie’s deeply-embedded lyricism
expressing his
innermost feelings with core
expressions hidden in heart, adorned with
peace-oriented sentimental poetic themes. I
feel it a privilege to admit that
study of
such poems will certainly help the reader to enjoy the
beauty of the
expressions as well as savor
the flow of nectarine words. I humbly confess
that every poem (fifty poems each in French and
English language with musical
links to
songs) flew in the mind’s sky like a flock of pigeons
roaming
delightfully in the horizon of
beautiful and peaceful firmament. The songs are
sung by the poet himself in French Spanish,
Italian and English languages and
correspond to all the musical genres: “A
Capella” (only the voice), accompanied
with piano, orchestra of varieties, and also
symphonic
units.
I
firmly opine that Guy
Crequie is such a great god gifted philosophical poet who
could not only please the world literary
lovers with his heart-soothing poetry
but
as well could succeed in imparting a message of peace to all
world citizens.
The poets concern for
establishing a peace-filled universal environment was the
resultant transformation emerged out from
the devastating terrorism and fanatic
events of random killings of innocent people as
prevailing in various countries
now. I
endorse Guy Crequie’s view that ‘poetry can perpetuate
emotions and
matter in words or prose
whether you use verse or prose’. The poet’s usage
of variety of vocabulary and presentation of
insightful poetic expressions are
indeed
laced with touching and sweet concepts devoted to peace,
harmony and
respect for nature. In word,
deed and spirit the poet aspires that the new
generation should safeguard and as well promote
humane culture and educating
them about
this beautiful blue Planet. This in turn enables the youth
to
face the challenges and hassles of the
millennium with true ethics, which are
utmost necessary for the future of Planet
Earth. Guy Crequie succeeded in
mastering
language as the best tool of poetry and pleasantly decorated
it with a
touchy magical-musical touch. He
is able to transform beautiful words as like a
painter does by shrewd utility of colours.
In the
poem NATURE, the poet meaningfully discloses his noble
passion,
reflecting through … Let us
breathe with a full lung / The taste of nature’s
show / printing life to the ultimate subsoil /
of essence of existence.
Another striking
poem THE INFINITE ONE demonstrates the poet’s quest in
comparing life with nature filled with
soul-soothing words
…
The
Moon rises to the West and lights it
/ The
Sun rises to the East and illuminates the West / So that man
reveals his
otherness / his noble passion
for humanity.
The significance of the poet
in expressing his communicative skills through the
poem “PROVENCE MAGIQUE”; - indeed awakens a
spiritual instinct … When the
celestial
sphere shines / The dazzling rock / Offers charming glances
/ The
wonderful moment of life. THE GREAT
WALL OF CHINA is another jewel in the
crown
which divulges the poet’s insight into the historic truth
… Its reality is
a work of vastness /
Bequeathed by the sweat of human epopee / And genius
inspired Prince / then Emperor QIN SHI HUANG
DI.
Yet another poem which throws
light on the poetic diction expressed in simple
and clear molded lines is echoed in the poem
UNIVERSAL AFRICA. The humane
concern and
the pangs of human existence uttered by the poet in the poem
rouse
the reader to think and re-think of
the lurking danger surrounding humanity,
viz., AIDS threatens its nest / Let us all
fight for survival /on this region of
humanity / For the universal eurhythmy / Our
lives of world citizens. Similarly,
in the
poem MOUNT EVEREST we can find the poetic zeal of the poet
to create a
harmonic understanding between
one and all …. “In mountain, one finds friendship
/ Nothing brings people more closer than the
mountain / On the most
perilous paths, we
must be held by the hand and we speak from heart to heart…

The problems of the world should be
regulated on the mountain / It is here where
KHROUCHTCHEV, JOHNSON, NEHRU, MAO should
discuss…”
Another
spell-binding poem is tiled, AUSTRALIA, wherein the poet
seems to
balance the nature as almost
equivalent to divine …. Rectilinear Lagoon /
Joining the horizon / The large coral barrier /
In this spectacle vastness /
Which cause
the amazed eyes / a search for spirituality. In the poem
THE
WOMAN, with universal meaning is
implanted with intense words …. Woman is
the future of the man / Because to exist / To
translate the act of love / To
give birth
to the future generations. In the poem, WHAT IS WHAT LOVE,
the
words surge with a pure poetic spirit
and the reader is bound to feel and listen
with heart an unparalleled delight of what the
poet feels about love ….
Man is a
gyration around the axis of life / Love is also to give /
The quality
of humanity / By the interior
of a spirituality / Which declines with our
realities.
HUMAN RIGHTS (wars
occur in the spirit of men… Constitution of UNESCO, London
16.11.1945) is one such poem which showers
much importance for propagating world
peace.
Every line in the long
poem aims to
build bridges of understanding
between diverse cultures and upholding of
spiritual values without differences of any
kind viz., The third millennium /
Can be filled with glory / Kneaded
people with humanity / Who testify their
solidarity / Their co-operation and
their
friendship / By the dialog between civilizations / And the
discovery of
the five continents / By the
sport, of culture, education / And the
communication / So that women and men of this
millennium / Citizens of the world
/
Contribute to a Planet covered with soil / Where each
individual will be a
brother or sister.
The poem with unique temperament, I HAD A DREAM contain
emotive concern surging alive betwixt alternate
realities of today and future …
I had a
dream / Only one Earth, only one Cosmos / For Universal
Mankind …. AND
…. By human
responsibility / Happiness built by those / Heirs to
survival /
Co-deciders of the future /
Immaculate desire for life
I
feel extremely privileged to
declare that I got an opportunity to express my
heartfelt opinions in the form of a FORWARD to
this wonderful collection of
fifty poems,
titled, “POETRY OF PEACE AND HARMONY” brought out by Guy
Crequie,
the renowned lyricist, singer,
poet and writer of France. Penned by the
messenger of the Culture of Peace (UNESCO), the
book is definitely an outcome
aimed at to
bring awareness of this time and help the diverse sects of
universal
citizens to think of world future
and future generations.
