En 2008, j’ai repris le chant lyrique après 43 ans d’arrêt = ce qui
normalement est impossible à faire selon les maestros après tant d’arrêt !
Handicapé, par des problèmes visuels d’enfance et d’adolescence, en 1962, je
n’ai jamais répondu à l’invitation de venir signer un contrat à Paris rue
François 1er à Paris par Lucien MORISSE alors Directeur artistique d’Europe n° 1
Travaillant comme vendeur en quincaillerie au début des années 60, lorsque
déchargeant un camion livrant des bouteilles de gaz, je chantais alors : O Sole
Mio ou Arrivederci Roma, mes aigus étaient si puissants, qu’on m’entendait à
300 mètres.
Appelé CARUSO alors, par mes camarades, en 1961, le ténor français Guy CHAUVET,
le plus grand ténor français avec Tony PONCET dans les années 50,qui interpréta
plusieurs fois OTHELLO au MET, qui m’avait entendu = me voyait comme
ultérieurement un successeur possible à CARUSO et LANZA.
Aujourd’hui, ce qui est extraordinaire, j’ai eu la chance de chanter à nouveau,
mais mes capacité vocales à 70 ans : sont à 20% de ce qu’elles étaient en 1960.
J’aimerais enregistrer Minuit chrétien qui, que l’on soit chrétien ou non =
appartient au panthéon de l’art vocal et ce avec 80 choristes et 120 musiciens
d’un ensemble philarmonique comme je l’ai fait en 2012 avec la marche
triomphale d’Aïda de Verdi, lors de la réception par Ada AHARONI de la
réception d’un prix de la paix de la Présidence de la République de son pays,
et lors du congrès mondial des poètes (atelier IFLAC –forum mondial de la
littérature et de l’art pour la paix.)
Ce jour, je joins les 2 interprétations de cette chanson inégalées = celle du
grand ténor français des années 30. Celle de Jussi Björling - O Holy Night
reste également splendide.

This day, I unite 2 unequalled interpretations of this song = that of the large
French tenor of the Thirties. That of Jussi Björling - O Holy Night remains
also splendid.
