China has 56 ethnic groups in China. Since China had law of one child family
for population control for the Han people, the minority ethnic groups are
allowed to have two children and they get 10 extra points for college entrance
exam to have a better advantage for higher education over the majority Han
people.

As a result, many intermarriages had occurred between the Han and the minority
groups. This may have tge effect of an cultural integration like when two
international companies merge in the west.
