Cheers,

if you regulary watch teaching games or (even better) take lessons from
MyMaster or so, please check out the latest preview (0.3.10pre2).

I did quite some changes to observed teaching games. gGo now will keep
branches which were created using undo as SGF variations. IGS itself does
not support variations (like KGS does, if you know the KGS teaching mode),
so the client has to emulate it somehow. This means, when you watch the
teaching game and later save the game as SGF file, the SGF will include all
branches including the comments, so you can later review the complete
lesson.
A drawback is, I disabled move navigation, so you can not move back to
earlier moves in the original observed board window (too complex). However,
you can open an edit board ("Edit game" button), where you can freely move
through the game, so this should be a minor issue.

The interface for the teacher is not changed, only the observers will keep
the branches - not really needed for the teacher and would make things too
complicated.

This required quite some changes to the whole observe code, and I won't bet
a cent it's completely bug-free, so I would appreciate if you could give it
some testing.

If you don't know where to get the preview releases, check the "Preview"
link on the gGo webpage.
