Dear GGC folks,
I was thinking about HOPE IS ON THE WAY, the theme chosen for our New Year
gathering on Saturday.
There's something "punny" about that phrase.Jesus is quoted as saying, "I am
the way, the truth, and the life."So, it occurs to me that The Way, in The
Kingdom, is what will aid each of us to keep-on-keeping-on.
We had very good participation for twenty people. ZOOM worked out very
well.Bettina Gray led us and got us laughing, too. Then we broke into small
discussion groups. The crystal angel with a broken wing and the clucking
hand-puppet were great.
All kinds of thank-yous to Michelle Klimesh, Douglas Burns, Chappell and Dave
Holt, plus Sara Blackstock and Diana Elwin.
Afterthought:We might do well to keep each of us who Zoomed together in our
prayers, as our spiritual family. Here's to a great improvement in this New
Year!!
Sincerely,Stephen Zendt

Dear Friends,
Tomorrow we meet via Zoom! Details for joining will magically arrive in your
inbox before the meeting. Before the official start time, our host Douglas
Burns will open the zoom room so people can get settled, make sure their zoom
is working properly, and chat a bit before we begin.
Bettina Gray will begin her presentation at 10:30am on our theme "Hope is on
the Way."
After a short break, Sara Blackstock and Diana Elwyn will lead us in the social
portion of the morning.
At approximately 1pm, we will take another small break so participants can
gather the components needed for the worship service, to be led by Stephen
Zendt. Stephen reminds everyone that they will need to provide their own bread
and wine (or toast and juice) for the remembrance portion of the worship.
Happy New Year to you,
La Presidenta
