You cannot be absolutely sure of that Bernie. The conventional explanation for moonlight being simply sunlight reflected off a convex spherical surface is inadequate for describing what we see." It's by a Dr. Neville T. Jones, Ph.D. I said at the first time I read this, and see no reason to change opinion, and repeat it here. with all due respect for Neville. Even though I have not the level of mathmatical competence. It seems reasonably certain that the angles of incidence over a convex reflector have a sinewave configuration (graphically) .. Meaning that though the angle of reflection reduces the intensity per degree at a sine rate (for a perfect circle) the overall area from which the reflection comes is greater, and increasing the further away from peak centre to the edge we go. Thus the over all reflected light will have an even iintensity overall equivalent to a flat plate of the same apparent diameter. Another way to assist my rather difficult explanation is this. Consider how much light would be reflected or is available, if the total area of the convex body was flattened out. We would have a much larger disc that what is observed. I had applied this reasoning to a problem of my fixed flat solar panels, producing very low output in the morning compared to Midday. IF I HAD mounted PANELS IN A CONVEX TUBULAR SHAPE (inverse parabola) the total output would be constant over the complete day.. Of course an inefficient way of achieving what a rotating structure to follow the sun would do, but not if solar cells cost nothing. Philip. PS It occurred to me, as I re-read Nevilles page, that his argument should also apply to the earth. Yet as all photos show, the earth likewise exhibits an evenly lighted disc, just like all the planets. and suns. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bernie Brauer To: geocentrism@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2009 7:25 AM Subject: [geocentrism] Re: The Moon Generates its Own Light! And unless there is some volcanic activity, which is doubtful, there is NO electromagnetic radiation emanating from the moon, other than that reflected or redirected from the sun. Also reading your exerpts it seems to me that your book of Enoch has been re modeled or touched up by some modernist author.
