Subject: [geocentrism] Fw: 2008's First Christmas Joke...

This Joke if it does not get me banned by Neville, will surely cost me heaps in Purgatory, assuming of course I manage to get in there..

Jesus said, charity , (not donations or kindness of heart) but True love Charity, leading others to God, covers a multitude of sins..  1Peter.

I wonder what reason the Protestants give for His saying that , considering all that is needed to be saved is to call on the name of Jesus..  Then of course , if such was all that is needed , why did He say pray often to avoid the Devil getting in, with this is how you should pray.. ".....and forgive us our tresspasses, ..."

A pretty ordinary Catholic, not even called devout would repeat the Lords prayer at least 5 times a day ..even up to maybe 15..How many methodists or whatever do that over the last 400 years or so.   But of course this would be mingled with up to 150 of the Angels salutation , Hail Mary's straight out of Scripture.. which surely will send them down to Hell in an instant..  No matter that every 10 includes the meditation on the life and passion of Our Lord..   I can Imagine the glee on the face of Jesus as he condemns all these who pray to him through His mother, to eternal Hell...  But then ...maybe not..  As St peter demonstrates below...

Subject: 2008's First Christmas Joke...

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly
gates.

"In honor of this holy season" Saint Peter said,  "You must each possess
something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He
flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates."

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He
shook them and said, "They're bells."

"You may pass through the pearly gates."

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally
pulled out a pair of women's panties.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what
do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "These are Carols."
