'70s. Prior to that my family always tossed trash out of the car windows as we
caravaned across the country (I was only 5 years old). This commercial
inspired me to pressure my parents to allow us to collect the fast food
wrappers and dispose of them at the next gas station. I've been on an
anti-litter campaign ever since.

The pollution Indian Chief. It was a commercial with him standing
around looking at all the pollution and a single tear slipped down his
face at the end.
At least that's the one I am talking about. Not sure about the one Tim
or was it Nancy (I get their user ids mixed up) were talking about.
