- OK Paul, since you are new to geocaching I am sure that a chance to get together and meet many of the folks would be a good thing. Since Chris was going to come out to the group hike to the Daryl and Daryl cache this Saturday, you can come in his place. We can talk about Chris and the problems he has caused this group and why the members are more than a little leery here.

Here are the details.

West Tyson County Park...if you need directions from your home, check out the MapQuest link on the cache page.
 
Rich has been so gracious to find us a shelter at the park (Rich - is this one heated?) to meet and party afterward - or spend the night if we can't get it the first day (newbies - just kidding!!).
 
When you get into the park, the road splits. Follow the road on the right to the end (about .1-.25 miles) and there is a parking lot, a shelter and restrooms are there also.  The lot only holds about 10-15 cars, so if it's a nice day, it may be full. If that's the case, then park just outside the park alongside the old HW 66 and walk in.
 
Weather for next Sat is 13/26 with 0% chance for precipitation.

I'm new to geocaching.com and the SLAGA community. I understand that you may have done a little tracing, and yes, my address does go back to my son's website. I am actually running that little fiasco on Chris's website. (Tax ID, Employer ID Number, you know...) I actually have an degree in Electronics repair, so I'm helping out there.
