One of our fellow caches, Prime Suspect, has also posted an MP3 file of the
piece. You can get it at

Too bad a buried cache near an archaeological site featured so prominently
in the report. L

How cool. NPR had a bit on geocaching today. Jeremy Irish had some
great sound bites. Unfortunately the Badlands N.P. chief ranger gave
a pretty awful example of geocaching -- someone had apparently dug a
hole near an archaeology site. Overall, though, the piece was pretty
neutral and I thought it was ultimately good press for our sport.

You can listen to it today on-line as follows: Go to www.npr.org,
click on Morning Edition link on the left side. Then fast-forward to
Segment 06.

I don't know how good their archival system is. The above
instructions only work today, 4-29-03
