I'm in Wildwood Crest, just south of where I was born, one notch above Cape
May where I grew up. I tried to answer right away, but my wife's aunt
invited me into the kitchen for an adult beverage and some pickled herring,
hard to pass up! I didn't check the ice in Rochester, but it was in the
20's when we were there. People were still riding bicycles around town, I
took pictures of guys on bikes going through a drive-thru burger window on
bikes while I was looking for someplace warm.

Hows the ice in Rochester? I am planning on making a Jan trip to do some ice
fishing. I hear that in the more Northern part of the state, the ice is at
4 - 7 inches. I like it around 20 - 24 before I get out on the ice.. I would
like to cache my way up and back. If you get a chance to make it down south
in NJ, Cape May has a few good ones. I really liked caching in Cherry Hill,
NJ too.

Oh, sweet sounds (key-clicks?) of SLAGA e-mail. I missed the party (hope
all had a good time), and somehow I was disconnected from the daily chatter
for over a week. I have been in total SLAGA withdrawal for days now, as we
traveled to and from Rochester, MN to home (Lincoln County) and now to the
Least Coast. I finally had a chance today to sign up anew for the e-mail
and and hear? your dulcet keystrokes. Hello to all and I'm grabbing a few
caches here in NJ.
