The following information was obtained from current
SLAGA president, Mike Griffin, on September 12,2005:
Current SLAGA Officers:
Mike Griffin - President
Glenn Nash - Vice President
Rich Sheffold - Vice President
Bridget Griffin - Secretary
Pam Ueltzen - Treasurer
Tim Ueltzen - Member at Large
Drei Michaels - Member at Large
Current Nominated Officers for election
at 2005 SLAGA Fall Picnic:
Paul Konopacki - President
Jim Greene - Vice President
Sarah Chisholm - Secretary
Treasurer (Pam Ueltzen has 1 more year left in her 2-year term)
Does a vote still need to take place at the fall
picnic if there is only one nominee for each
officer position? Also note that in some
positions, there are no nominees (a 2nd VP
and no Member at Large). That will just have
to be the case for the coming year.
I personally consider Member at Large a fancy
title for 'active and reliable volunteer', at least
in the context of the actual needs of SLAGA.
You don't need a title to be helpful to the group.
Even if you only commit a half-day a year to
helping out at an event, your effort is always
appreciated.
