They are out of Beta firmware for the raster maps. I updated to the new
firmware today. Has anyone got making the maps all figured out. I made one
from GoogleEarth. It was OK. I had trouble aligning the map in GE. It would
be nice to have someone make some and post them for us to download. Both MO
and IL have some pretty good sat photos in the .sid format. I can open and
view them in MapWindow GIS (great freeware GIS program that I use making my
maps). But I cannot get them into googleearth.

MO maps: http://www.msdis.missouri.edu/data/2foot/index.htm
IL Maps:

I hope someone will take the lead on figuring this out for the rest of us!
