I don't see a problem with you leaving early. You could e-mail lazylightning
and ask him if it would be ok.

There is a possibility that I may be in Jeff. City next Saturday.  My
girlfriend visits her mother, who is in a nursing home that weekend.

Do I necessarily have to stay for the dinner (since she probably will not
stay past 4) and just join the group for the caching?  Or, does that just
sound rude?
