- I almost came to blows with a guy doing this in our neighborhood last year. We walked out to go to school one morning and here's a man slowly driving up our street taking digital pictures of every HOUSE. "Excuse me -- but WHAT are you doing?" I cannot remember the name of the company he worked for -- but they are taking pictures of every house and then making them available for sale to real estate companies and government agencies I suppose anyone who wants to pay the $35.00. However -- since I "caught" him and raised such a stink he made a "notation" that homeowner requested no picture. He said he would not take a picture of a home if there was an identifiable person in the frame. HOWEVER -- if your "Stuff" was in the picture -- so be it. So, for $35.00 if you'd like to buy a picture of my neighbor's house you'll find out they drive a late model mini van and have at least one boy and one girl -- their bigwheels were out front. The other neighbor got his brand new Envoy and Yukon photographed. And, if you look hard enough you might be able to figure out which window is street level, obstructed by bushes and would make easy entrance. Then again I'm paranoid.
