Chris, Do a google search on GPXView and GPXSonar. They will both read the GPX files directly from the GC.com custom query's and displays the cache pages with the last 5 log entries. You can also sort by ID or name, set a start location and display distances from that point, plus lots of other neat things. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Binder To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 9:38 AM Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR: Dell Axim Well...I do have some brand loyalty going on. Plus, the axim does have some extra features in the way of two expansion slots and a quick scroll bar. I'm still looking at what's out there. Do you know of any good geocaching programs for WIN CE2003/2? ~Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: GC-RGS To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 8:51 AM Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR: Dell Axim Chris; I don't have an Axim but the PDA's that use Win CE2003, (and I assume 2002), will do what you want.Since it interfaces with Outlook (not Outlook Express), that's the calendar info you'll get, and there are some add-in which will give you even more calendar info. Transcriber will convert written/printed words to text, or you can use the screen keyboard or the Palm like recognition. There should be several PDA's at the picnic you can look at to see how it displays. The brand of PDA won't make any difference, as long as it uses Win CE. The Palm PDA's are different of course since they use Palm OS. ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Binder To: Geocaching Newsgroup Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 8:36 AM Subject: [GeoStL] NGR: Dell Axim Does anyone here own a dell axim? I have some questions about it because I am considering purchasing one for school. I need to know if it has a good calendar system. I also need to know if I can jot notes down not using the on screen keyboard. Also, it would be helpful to know if it could play MP3s. ~Chris
