- RGS (and Glenn too), I left it out for a while. It had to sit on the porch, the only other options were in the snow. After 15 minutes, I went out to find the batteries died. Replaced with recharageables. Took back out and almost immediately it started getting satellite locks. COOL!!! The time fixed itself once it started taking in the satellite feed. And I found out where I was! Of course, the car that waited patiently for me to get out of the middle of the road could of told me where I was too. Now that I have a GPS, the caches are all under the snow. And I'm headed back east on Jan. 1st where there is even more snow. Oh well, the leader list may have to wait a bit longer for me to join them. :) Anyway, thanks for your help.
