Are there ever any events for learning more about the more technical things on
a GPS or even about how PDAs work and how to use one for geocaching?
I haven't a clue about what all a PDA does and know that alot of cachers use
them. I am sure I am not the only one out here that knows nothing about a PDA.
I might want a PDA if I knew how it works.

Or how to project waypoints, or even on some caches it will say go so many
degrees in a certain direction from a certain waypoint. I would like to learn
some of this or all that I can.

So are there ever any events that tells more than just very beginner lessons?
I know the beginning basics, but not other more techinal things.

Thanks,
Jen
