Levis Lane is a tiny street with a small green sign you will probably read as
you pass it by. If your coming from the SE on Rt. 3, it will be just before a
gas station (red I think) on the S side of the road, conviently placed for you
turn around in as you pass up Levis lane.

We were in Alton last Sunday caching in the rain. After everyone completes Olin
and is still in the caching spirit, here are some quick ones in the area:

GC4077 Riverview park. Don't hesitate to park somewhere else (closer) than the
suggested road to park on.

GC1CDF Worlds Tallest. Ist part is drive by. 2nd part is to the west of part 1
between cache and Olin, so if your coming from StL drop by the 1st part to get
the numbers you'll need to fine part 2. Part 2 is in a park that was closed off
for installing xmas decorations last week, but you can park outside the gate &
walk in. Note are 2 entrances, and one might be closer to the cache than the
other.

GC1D13 Glazebrook. Easy find but in plain site of big nice playground. Probably
best to do off-hours. Bring kids with you and deploy them as decoys. We did
this right before going to Olin overlook. The shortest route - pierce lane at
Hwy 3 is closed for construction, so use 67/111, not Pierce Ln. to get
between here and Olin.

GCECC Tallgrass Prairie. 1/4 mile from parking. Flat walk. Choose one of 2
routes, but the fact you have 2 choices may not be obvious at first.

GC434F High Water. On river road. 2 part. First is drive by, 2nd easy short
walk thru woods. There are no defined paths but its by no means bushwhacking.

GC4076 Piasa Bird. On River road. We ended up not doing this because you have
to do some quick internet research to get to the cache. Just printing out the
directions and hopping in the car won't get you where your going.

I'm not sure since I haven't been there yet, but Map Source and Streets and
Maps says Levis lane.
It's near Hwy 100 (the river road) just North of Alton.
We're going to do the 4 Olin Nature Preserve caches

The 1st one up is the Overlook Cache GC59E0.
  It says to park at 38 55.754 90 12.774
Go Route 3 to Levis Lane.

Elkie now has a phone number and can call to find out where we are.
