Glenn, you're absolutely right. They are the Cadillac of cast iron
cookware. Some skillets can bring as much as several thousand dollars. I
have about 1300 pieces in my collection. Several years ago we had our annual
convention here in St.Louis. In Fulton we will be forming a Midwest Chapter
of the G&CICA Bernie

And they made some GREAT cast iron stuff.
I dont know if anyone else made stuff that was that good but the Griswold
stuff is seriously worth having. Only if I could afford to get the stuff ,
THAT's another story..
