I think that Bridget and I will be able to make it as we are starting our Mo
State Parks Trails Passport Program, whew, that's a mouthful, this weekend
and we will vacation down in that area to hit a few SPs... TRL is certainly
one on the list to do..
Are you doing the Passport again this Summer?

I just wanted to let everyone in SLAGA know that another Springfield/Branso=
n event cache for the weekend of June 15-17 now has the official okie-dokie=
! To log the event cache, you must attend the Crackerbarrel Campfire on Sa=
t night, June 16, but there will be several other things to do in the area =
including a group cache earlier in the day. Also, the Ozark Mountain Geoca=
chers will be holding their Geocaching 201 class from 10am to noon, and the=
re may be a picnic after that. It would be awesome if a whole group of St.=
Louis cachers could make the trip and enjoy a weekend of camping, caching,=
and socializing with the fine geocaching folks in the Ozarks. I reserved =
my campsite at Table Rock State Park this past weekend and there seemed to =
be a few sites left at that time. I will be at Campsite #125 where the off=
icial event cache will be held Saturday night. Make your reservations quic=
kly--Campground #1 has the water/electric/sewer sites. My understanding is=
that Campground #2 only has primitive sites. There is a firewood alert so =
be aware of that. ALSO, let me know of any caches you might want to hunt a=
s part of the group cache hunt during the day. I'll put together a bookmar=
k list of all the caches everybody wants to find.
AND just for Nancy, YES, I'm sure someone will bring food at some point... =
Hey, how about a MEGA-group meeting at Lamberts sometime during the weeken=
d?
Hopefully, I'll see you there in Springfield and at Table Rock State Park!
