Sounds like you better hope some of them speak English, the German foreign
exchange students we had in high school claimed that almost everyone over there
knew more than one language to a degree (if not proficiently).

I am SO screwed when I get over there. I can't speak a lick of German.
They are going to wonder why I am laughing so hard when I try to
tranlate what they are saying and it comes out like this.
