I have been doing cache maintenance on most of my caches this week. I thin=
k I could make a full time job out of maintaining the TOTALLY LAME caches..=
. LOL! Actually, I wanted to mention a "great geocaching deal" for all in=
terested folks... IF you haven't yet done the St. Stanislaus trio of cache=
s, then read up please. I am sweetening the pot (Glenn's about to cringe..=
.). Both St. Stanislaus #1 and #2 are as they always have been...good soli=
d caches. Nice finds...hint: go after "Gone Fishing...STL Style" then find=
St. Stanislaus #1 on the same walk! It is St. Stanislaus #3 that gets the=
sweet deal. The container from #3 recently disappeared. No big deal...pr=
obably needed to be trashed anyway because of what some recent logs have re=
ported: ink all over the place inside the cache. I have replaced the conta=
iner, BUT leaving trash out in the woods IS a big deal to me. I searched f=
or the original twice now (Monday and today) and cannot find it. Most like=
ly someone came across it and packed it out to a trash can. Maybe...so her=
e's what I am going/willing to do. For the individual, or GROUP, who finds=
the #3 cache (both original and replacement containers-a digital pic of yo=
ur find will do), I will be willing to allow them to TRIPLE log that one ca=
che. That's one find for the original container, one find for the replacem=
ent container, and one find for your CITO efforts in an effort to foster a =
better relationship between geocachers and the MDC. SO how about it? In a=
couple weeks the green stuff will be out and you will have strong MOGA fev=
er! How about getting in the mood now by doing something great and doing i=
t BEFORE it is too green to see the forest for all the trees? Just a thoug=
ht...

Happy geo-trails to all!
