Do any of you use the Cobra micro talk PR560WX radios? If so, what do you think
of them?
I bought a pair tonight at Wal-Mart for $49 They (supposedly) have a 6mile
range, 22 channels, 7shared frs/gmrs, 7 frs & 8 gmrs & 38 privacy codes, a
charger w/batteries, hands free vox, & channel scan.
I had a tough time deciding between these & the Motorolas.
I know range depends a lot on tree cover etc. but, will they even get close to
6 miles??? If they reach 3, i'll be happy!
The last ones I bought were the Columbias that came with the rebate which made
them free & they were worth every penny! LOL They would barely reach 1/2 mile
on the interstate.
