Brothers,
The Southwestern Province has announced the fraternity will be offering
Re-engagement beginning *today through June 6th (completed application
submission deadline)*.
*Re-engagement* is for brothers who have been exposed to the fraternity
crossing ritual, but does not appear on the formal roster of the
fraternity. To do so will require, but not limited to:
- Attestation/Recommendation letters from three brothers who are all
currently active at all three levels of the fraternity (national, province,
local) who have firsthand knowledge of your participation in the ritual.
- Recommendation letters from two community members attesting to
character.
- Certified transcripts for degree completion and proof of enrollment
during semester in question (if approved, you will be placed on the roster
with the initiation date you provide).
- payment of initiation fees at current pricing
On another note, the fraternity always offers Reinstatement.
*Reinstatement* is for brothers who are on the roll, but have a status of
"Suspended", "Expelled", etc. and will require, but not limited to:
- payment of any outstanding fines and/or housing assessments.
- approval of the Province Polemarch.
Your re-engagement or reinstatement must be facilitated by an alumni
chapter within the province (in this case, the Grambling (LA) Alumni
Chapter) who will work with you to compile your packet and submit it to the
Southwestern Province leadership for review and (hopefully) subsequent
recommendation to Grand Chapter for final approval.
