I would like to think that this "Experience" would continue and I would
like to help keep this going. This is a great opportunity for us to engage
the younger brothers at Gamma Psi and also some of the other lines and
members of our chapter. This would be prove to have a great impact on our
Gamma Psi going forward and strenghten our relationship with our
undergraduate chapter. Something to think about. I hope that there are

I hope you have all safely returned back home from The Gamma Psi Experience
(GPE) 2018 in Plano, TX. I additionally hope you found value in your
registration fee. I know the fee can be a problem depending on all the
obligations we have to those who depend on us and thus tried to deliver
relative value for your investment. This year was a little different
because we decided that even as we got together to reconnect, we wanted to
do something good for GSU, which was a significant undertaking for us.
Please remember "No Student Left Behind (NSLB)" as a moniker for GSU Gap
Fund future activities and recognize it as something the Alumni of Gamma
Psi are conducting. That said, I have a few special thanks:
Thanks to Brother Broderick Miller for his leadership through this whole
process of the NSLB fundraiser and for "compelling" brothers from his era
to consider participating in The Gamma Psi Experience.
Thanks to Brother Errol Coner for his suggestions and guidance throughout
the planning of GPE 2018.
Thanks to Brothers Richard Gallot Jr. (GSU President) and Martin Lemelle
Jr. (GSU COO) for their attendance in supporting our NSLB initiative.
Thanks to Brothers Murphy Cheatham, Jesse Jackson, and William Bryant for
all of their work in marketing and executing the NSLB fundraiser and silent
auction.
Thanks to Brother Charles Blow for taking a few hours out of an extremely
busy schedule to fly across the country to support this fundraiser.
Thanks to Brother Antonio Williams for making sure the brothers could
convene over good food and drink, even as we worked around a tight budget.
Thanks to Brother Carlos Phillips for his insightful spiritual presentation
and lessons he shared with the brothers.
Thanks to Brother Darin Wills for simply being there when I couldn't.
Thanks to all brothers who were not initiated at Gamma Psi, but trusted our
efforts enough to support it with your time and money.
Final Announcements:
1.) If you registered and have not yet received your souvenir golf shirt,
you should receive it by U.S. Mail no later than 3 weeks from now. In the
interim, don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
2.) The NSLB photographer photos should be available in a week. The final
financial report will be posted in about a month.
3.) Since we know not what tomorrow holds, I am grateful we had this
chance. WIth functioning Gamma Psi and Grambling Alumni Chapters, perhaps
GPE has run its course. Certainly, I will not oversee another one, but if
there is interest in doing it again, I will be there to help whatever
brother(s) are interested in leading the effort.
