Brothers,
We have two important pieces of information to pass on. First,
registration for The Gamma Psi Experience (GPE) 2018 is open at
http://www.gammapsiexperience.com. If you are asked for a password on the
site, it is: GPE2018! (case-sensitive and includes exclamation mark).
Additionally, the latest GPE2018 financial report is posted on the
registration page. I would also encourage you to make your reservations at
the host hotel ASAP (Info is on the website). You can cancel your
reservation with no penalty until April 18th. Finally, there are some
changes to the Saturday night agenda as we are working to finalize
arrangements for a party. We hope to have that finalized and the website
updated in the next few weeks. Feel free to contact me if you have any
questions.
The second item is the GSU Fundraiser event scheduled during The Gamma Psi
Experience on Friday night, April 20th. Our own brother, President Gallot,
will be in attendance along with other GSU supporters and benefactors.
During that fundraiser, a silent auction of various items will be held with
all proceeds to benefit the GSU Foundation. It is important to note that
while we are handling funding and operations for this event, this event is
a GSU Foundation event and their representatives will be on hand to
directly collect and account for the proceeds. The proceeds from this
fundraiser will be part of our contribution to the annual GSU “Bring It
Home” fundraising campaign that runs until Homecoming. Our participation
in the 2018 campaign calls for us to collectively fundraise on behalf of
Kappa in competition with other Greeks. This differs from last year’s
campaign where there was a friendly giving competition between Kappa pledge
lines. You can expect to get more details on the 2018 campaign in upcoming
weeks. In support of the silent auction, we are asking you to help solicit
donated items that we can incorporate with the auction. Please review the
attached letter and contact either of the auction chairmen, Brothers Murphy
Cheatham or Jesse Jackson with questions. Let's all do what we can to
support GSU and Brother Gallot.
