Sad news indeed.
Like many people on this list and FMstudio forum, he was there to help me in a
crisis but not only that, he explained the hows and whys.
A great teacher and mentor.

in PHP that got me over a wall I had hit in the middle of the night here and
Bob Patin was asleep and I had to teach the next morning.
He was also the number one question solver on the old FMStudio forum. He did
not use FMStudio but helped explain to us users what what was going on and
how to fix their issues.
He never used FMStudio. I asked him once why he helped us when he never used
the software? He said he just liked helping people.
I also enjoyed hearing how his cricket team was doing. Something else I do
not understand, cricket.
