Hello everyone. Since I am one of the volunteer for Puducherry Gnu/Linux
Users Group (PuduvaiGLUG), I proposed them to put a request to our mailing
list when we were discussing about potential venues for organizing a Free
Software Summer Camp at Pondicherry between June-July. I understand most of
us are new in the mailing list and even to free software and also most of
you are out for summer vacation too. Shall we try (once again) to organize
this event in PU along with our official inauguration?

To PuduvaiGLUG Memebers,
I will try to explain the status quo in PU. We have already tried to
formalize a University wide Free Software Users Group formally, but the
process is taking so long time and soon after we faced exams and so we have
put on hold a lot of our efforts. Also due to the fact that University is
closed for summer vacation currently, most of us are not in the campus to
come together and could not start the formal process any where soon. So I
as an individual cannot assure anything, since a collective discussion and
decision has to be sought within FSUGPU.
I request you people to make sure that you people CC all your replies for
this particular email subject to fsugpu mailing list also.
To Both Community Members,
To strengthen our communities, we need to co-operate with each other. Our
objectives are same. We need to pool our resources together to achieve our

That has been the single most important thing I have thinking about since
I joined the summer train of DGPLUG. I am ready to put in all efforts. I am
expecting not to have much pressure during the initial weeks of the
upcoming semester. We can execute something substantial by the middle of
August.
My initial plan was to reach campus on 28th July, but due to some medical
emergency in my family I will reach the campus on 5th July.
@prasanna, @sooraj : I would suggest if you guys could correspond with
Rajeshwari Mam from Mathematics Department. I had developed that
registration form for the Spoken Tutorials workshop. Since all that
happened just 2 weeks before the exam, I could not follow up with her and
the system was never hosted. She is well aware of our agenda and has
expressed full support from her side. I can't begin to list the many plans
I have for the upcoming semester. Lot of things need to be done.
