Hello.

I was trying to install a torrent download manager called deluge. As usual
got a series of dependency problems. I somehow downloaded all the required
dependencies. and then tried to install it again using dpkg -i. But this
time also it returned series of errors, of dependency. I thought to remove
the broken packages, went to synaptic package manager and i found 4 files
one is deluge, others are 2 libs and python-glade. I marked for complete
removal. A strange thing happened. The synaptic started to remove many of my
packages including gdm, rythmbox etc. to save from this, i forced a restart.
my synaptic is still in the broken state. i cant uninstall the broken
packages since it removes many other useful packages. Im confused. What
should i do now?
Please help immediately.

Thank you.
