Hola to All Members of Friends of SF60000,
Normally we meet on the first Thurs of ea. month. This month there are a few
conflicts, so Kate and I decided to move the meeting back one week until
Thursday night, October 9. I will be away, and so will a few others, so this
is why we thought we'd get more of a turnout by waiting. We'll be sending
another email prior to the meeting as a reminder. Lots to discuss. John
Coronna was in town for a few weeks and we met with him about ballfield park
and other matters. Also we had successful Cow Harbor Day activities and the
swimathon which raised more than $700. We're well on our way toward our goal
of $12000 toward the housing grant. Quite close in fact. Lots to discuss and
decide. And, we still need a couple of thousand to go to complete the grant.
So please come on Oct. 9. We need your presence and your vote on things. See
you then.
