hey all-
so the baseball stuff is still in customs however on monday morning conchita
and i met with the mayor of leon and he has agreed to help us get it out.
conchita and wrote a formal petition and hope to have a response in the next
week.
basically the automated customs system subjected the shipment to a random
search and they revalued the shipment at about 3333.00 dollars. (absurd).
I have tried a number of avenues unsuccessfully and i am pretty confident in
mayor calderon's ability to succeed.
Additionally he has agreed that all future shipments may be sent in the name of
the municipality and he will ensure that they smoothly go through customs and
get to the communities asap.
