Hey folks,
I'm mulling over several significant changes to the Faster Scale App that I'd
love feedback on and help prioritizing. I've recently completed a fair amount
of work improving the security and stability of the app, and now I'd like to
turn my attention towards user-facing, "feature" work.
Some of the areas I'm thinking about include:
Visual Redesign
- The visual design and UX of the site are far from great. I've been slowly
and gradually working on improving that and I have a working version that I'm
starting to like. I have _zero_ design skills, so if anyone with those skills
would like to help please let me know!
Adding the Commitment to Change/Double Bind questionnaire
- If you're familiar with the Faster Scale you've probably seen the this
worksheet (the "If I do, If I don't, The right thing is, etc"). It would be an
optional thing to fill out after you've completed the existing Check-in section.
Custom Behaviors
- As a person becomes more familiar with the scale, they may start to notice
additional warning behaviors they exhibit that aren't on the list. It could be
helpful to add in custom behaviors to the scale, for easier tracking.
Removing the concept of "Scores"
- I'm seriously considering ripping out the idea of a "Danger Score". I've
been unable to come up with a scoring formula that satisfies myself, much less
most FSA users. In many cases, the score that is displayed can mislead you into
thinking you're doing better than you actually are. I'm considering deleting
this entirely -- I have a "scoreless" demo I can show if you're curious.
