Good Morning Toasties: Hope everyone is having a great Holiday
weekend. After much deliberation with the VPE, Luke, we have decided on
the following schedule for the June 1 meeting. This will be our
election meeting so please plan on attending so we can have a quorum
present and wont have to contact each member individually to get a
legitimate vote.
Similar to previous meetings, we will be having prepared speeches from
each of the candidates for club office. The rules are thus:
1. Speech length - 3 to 5 minutes
2. Topic - The candidate and why they are best for the position
3. Presenter - Candidates may present for themselves or get someone to
speak on their behalf.
4. Nominations from the floor and accompanying speeches may be made
during the meeting.
Elections will be held after the candidate speeches.
It appears that I will have room for one prepared speaker and evaluation
during the meeting. If interested? let me know.
All members with roles assigned, please confirm as soon as possible.
Remember - We need a quorum present to plan on attending. Look forward
to seeing everyone there.
