Here are a few updates from TWBC
· Chicken wire on new gate - I wrote to KHWP to see if that’s
something they could do with their volunteers – if not I will look into it.
· Poo in the sandpit – I passed your comments to Sodexo to make sure
the sand it rakes daily. We ordered more sand, awaiting delivery. During the
last playground inspection I noticed a cat using the sand as his litter box –
I chased it away!
· Shrubs on the ‘concrete bed’ will be planted tomorrow. I will put
chestnut paling fence around to protect the shrubs at the start.
· Drain by the shelter – our colleagues from Property arranged for a
larger French drain to be installed to aid surface water drainage – this has
been completed in February. Is it not draining again? I will have a look next
time visiting.
· 3 new trees for St John’s arrived to our depot, two to replace
trees we lost, plus another palm tree to be planted at the playground in
place of the timber crocodile (that sadly had to be removed due to serious
decay).
