I hope you are all well and surviving/enjoying the Winter months. We are now
due our AGM and hope that you will be able to attend:
Thursday 16th February at 7pm at the Bowls Pavilion, St John’s Park and Meadow
Kasia Olszewska from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Nick Robinson from the
High Weald Partnership will both be attending.
Kasia has been working on a management plan for St John’s. The aim is for the
park and meadows to be granted Green Flag Status. She will be very keen to
hear what the Friends Group thinks of some of her proposals. She has also been
working on our requests from last year (eg replacement plaque) and is
responsible for ordering the new trees that have been planted recently.
Nick has also just submitted some proposals about what the High Weald
Partnership would like to do in the Meadows areas this year.
