Yesterday I examined OpenACS 4.x packages (modules) which might be
converted to use for a a job board, online newsletter or other likely project.
1. bboard - forum system
2. cms - content management system; powerful online publishing system
3. vc - version control; gui front end to cvs
4. messaging - customizable core for messaging systems
5. blogger - blogger system (see http://pinds.com)
6. portal - portal system; like yahoo or slashdot
7. templating - 100% separates content from presentation
8. spam - mass email and group email
9. subsites - websites within websites
10. webmail - just like it says
The scope of these packages is unbelievable.
