Tom and I were talking about open source ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning,
Basically an integrated accounting and inventory system).  These are a few
solutions that I have found.  There are others but they either are
dead/dormant (ie Linux-Kontor http://www.linux-kontor.org/en/), not
available in English,  very incomplete, or I couldn't find them.

FISTERRA is a project that aims to provide a generic Open Source ERP.(GPL)

CK-Ledger (continued as CK-ERP) with 15 modules (Admin, Ledger, Bank
Reconciliation, Inventory, Service, AP, AR, PO, SO, Quotation, POS-Cashier,
POS-Mgr, HR, Staff Self Service, Payroll) runs atop phpGW & offers
accounting/backoffice features to SMEs. (GPL)

Compiere is an Open Source ERP solution based on Oracle which has been
sponsored by Goodyear Germany.  The Compiere License is based on the Mozilla
Public License (MPL) Version 1.1 and the Netscape Public License (NPL)

SQL-Ledger is a double entry accounting system. Accounting data is stored in
a SQL Server, for the display any text or GUI browser can be used. The
entire system is linked through a chart of accounts. Each item in inventory
is linked to revenue, expense, inventory and tax accounts. When items are
sold and purchased the accounts are automatically updated. (GPL)
