[frgeek-michiana] Lightweight Ubuntu

I know some of you are interested in a lighter distro.
Lubuntu 10.04 < http://lubuntu.net/ > is a lightweight variant of Ubuntu using
LXDE < http://lxde.org/ > lightweight desktop environment.
P II or Celeron processor.
Minimum memory required is 128 MB, 160MB recommended; Graphical installer and
live-cd require 160 MB or more.
It uses Openbox as it's window manager, Chromium as the web browser, Sylpheed
for email, Abiword and Gnumeric for office apps, and Aqualung and mplayer for
multimedia.
There is a netbook boot option optimized for the smaller screens of netbooks.
It also can use all of the Ubuntu packages including localization packages.
I haven't tried it yet so ymmv.
