This fellow has Debian running on an UltraSparc-II box, the second one
mentioned. There are frequently problems installing Debian from CD-ROM on
Sun boxes, and network installs are often required as in link below.

I would say since they are dual cpu boxes, we could replace the Debian box with one at some point in the future?

I will concur with the net install, anymore if you have any kind of a high speed connection, it's the only way to go for setting up a Debian Box!
