Join United States EPA Regions 3 and 5 to learn about the export notification requirements of the Cathode Ray Tube Rule On June 23, 2009, at 10 AM Eastern time, the US EPA Regions 3 and 5, along with the EPA Headquarters CRT Rule expert, will be hosting a web conference on the Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Rule. To help streamline regulations, and increase recycling, CRTs have been given a conditional exclusion from the definition of solid waste at the federal level if they are to be recycled. This call will introduce those that manage CRTs, and those that export them, to the requirements of these exclusions. EPA’s notification requirements for exporting CRTs, and devices containing them, for either reuse or recycling will be reviewed, as well as resources that can assist compliance with the rule. This call will feature a presentation and an opportunity for questions. Pre-registration by June 19, 2008 is required to reserve a space.
