Do not request a % *ever*.
If you exceed your targets by an agreed upon level, you should be entitled
to a performance bonus. NEVER EVER work on %.
Negotiate in your annual review the idea of performance bonuses.
Good luck.

Can anyone share what an acceptable % is to ask?
Also is end of the year bonus standard?
Thanks
