Hi fundraising colleagues,
Most of our support comes from couples who were helped by Machon Puah and
give (often without being asked) out of simple gratitude. However we also
have a relatively large pool of couples who were helped and have never
given.
I would like to turn to these potential donors, but it is not yet clear to
me how best to reconnect to and speak to them.
Two things are clear to me:
1. The message needs to be specific to this group of potential donors. They
don't need to hear stories about the couples we have helped - they know.
2. We cannot lay a guilt trip on couples or be heavy-handed.
These are thousands of potential donors who have good reason to want to
become supporters.
