If you are ONLY looking for a feature that will send you an email when a due
date is coming up, then you could simply schedule an email to be sent to
yourself. Not sure if you can do this in gmail, but Microsoft Outlook can do
this. Besides, Outlook is generally great for appointments & task management
(except for those pesky sub-tasks).
Good luck!

Are you using a crm for donor relations? - I just add those tasks and dates
into salesforce - it will send mails as reminders if you set it up that way.

Can anyone recommend a software program they use to keep track of due dates and
other project deadlines? I’ve been using a Google spreadsheet. There is an add
reminders feature for Google spreadsheets but it doesn’t work well and is very
limited. I need something that will send me an email when an important due date
is coming up. Sometimes I get very busy and forget to look at the Google
spreadsheet and have missed a deadline before.
Thanks!
