*The Society for Advancement of Education (SAE) is seeking a Grant Writer*
Half-time (50%) position
Location: Jerusalem
Reports to: Director of Resource Development
Start Date: Immediate
Job Description
• Writing grant proposals and reports in English
• Preparing marketing materials and website/social media content in English
• Translating materials from Hebrew to English
• Interacting with field staff in order to gather information
Required Skills and Background:
- At least 3 years’ experience in grant-writing for non-profits
- English– mother tongue, Hebrew- very high level
- Excellent writing and computer skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Highly organized with good performance under pressure
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a large staff
