JOB OPPORTUNITY!
Midreshet Rachel v'Chaya (the women's school of Shapell's/Darche Noam)
seeks a half time student finance coordinator/development associate. This
position includes communicating with entering students about tuition and
fees, managing financial aid, meeting with students to develop payment
plans, ensuring payments are made on time, and following up with alumni on
pledges to the scholarship fund and general fundraising.
The successful candidate will have had successful experience in collecting
payments and raising money in a non-profit setting. They must speak and
write fluent English, be very organized, have excellent "people skills," be
able to communicate well (in person and in writing), and have a proven
track record of success in collections and fundraising. They must be
comfortable working in an Orthodox setting (including adhering to a dress
code for employees).
