Beit Midrash Yisraeli – Ein Prat, a pluralistic network of Batei Midrash
for Israeli young adults, seeks an experienced director of development to
lead its fundraising operations in Israel.
Primary responsibilities:
- Co-create with management a strategic development plan for cultivating
partnerships and meaningful relationships with funders in Israel and
overseas to provide the funds necessary for the organization's planned
operations and growth
- Deliver on the development plan including by: maintaining and growing
existing funder relationships; initiating and cultivating new
relationships; sourcing all written development materials at a high
professional level; planning overseas fundraising trips for management;
organizing and managing donor site visits in Israel; and managing English
language media for the organization
Candidate Profile:
- At least three years of professional experience in resource
development including in preparation of written materials
- English mother tongue and high level Hebrew fluency
- Outstanding communication skills
- Team-player with ability to operate independently
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in unconventional hours when
necessary
- Ability to multi-task
- Maturity and capacity to represent organization at a high professional
standard
- High level of familiarity with landscape of Jewish renewal in Israel
is an asset
