Dear colleagues,

 

I am looking for input about determining appropriate monthly compensation
for an experienced director for an established NGO with a 3 million shekel
budget, approximately 35% of which needs to be raised on an annual basis
through philanthropy.

 

In no particular order, the general responsibilities include fiscal
management, fundraising experience (preferably both with Israeli donors and
abroad), managerial/administrative experience (there 13 staff in two
offices, one in Jerusalem, the other in Ramat Gan), and knowledge of
marketing.  There will be very occasional overseas travel (likely one time
per year). The organization relies on a lean administrative staff, a grant
writer, and strong lay leadership.

 

I would be interested in feedback on a reasonable salary range.
